My sister's tale of the mouse that her cat brought in.
Moosh is the cat. Jerry and "the boy" is my nephew. "The girl" is my niece.

It FLEW. Seriously. First, it was hiding behind the empty Arrowhead bottles and Moosh was terrorizing it. We got both cats into my room and closed the door. Jerry put on his work gloves and began rescue efforts. It went under the tv stand, then under the couch, then up the back of the couch, then back under. Then it ran to the bathroom. Jerry went in and closed the door, and we blocked the space under the door with a towel so he couldn’t squeeze out. I kept hearing unidentifiable sounds, and the girl kept asking him “what was that?!” Apparently, the mouse was trying to jump up the door – sounds like he made it almost halfway up a few times. Then it started climbing the boy. He was getting nervous about possible bites, so when he said it was safe, I opened the door and snuck in and closed it really fast while the girl went to get some peanut butter in a container in hopes of coaxing it in. it started climbing his head and he was nervous but laughing cuz it felt so weird. Then it FLEW from his shoulder to the door, slid down the door, jumped about waist-high in the other direction, into the hamper, then out of the hamper and up the shower curtain, then onto the counter, from the counter into the cat food, then back to the hamper, and at one point started climbing my bare leg! Ewwww! Anyway, he finally caught it between his gloved hands and got it outside. Lively little bass turd.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

2. So could I
And knowing the confines of their little apartment, it's even funnier. :)

3. That sounds like what happened when a feral cat accidentally sneaked in my house
It must have slipped in somehow when I was leaving for work, because when I came home some 10 hours later and opened the front door and something whoooshed! by me and out the door... and then when I saw what the house looked like.... and there was my poor old cat, just laying on the bed with a huge WTF look on her face.

The curtains were all hanging askew, things were knocked over and I can only imagine what really went on all day.

My poor kitty, having to watch all that.
