Dancing with the Stars
Anyone else watching? This is my first time to really follow it through from the beginning.

Kate Gosselin has been just awful so far!!!

4. Shopping cart
Last week, one of the judges remarked that when Gosselin danced, it looked like her partner was pushing around a shopping cart!! LOL

There was footage last night of a big blowup between her and her dance pro. I feel sorry for the guy for having to deal with her!

There is, however, some real potential in some of the other contestants!

I think it's a little unfair, too, that she is still using her children to ask for votes, etc. Both weeks, now, she's mentioned something about her children. Some of the other contestants have children, too, and I don't see any of them pimping the kids for votes!

7. Last week they said of Kate
that she shows none of the joy of dancing. That's because the sucks the joy out of anything! This week, after her dance partner walked out of the room, she kept saying, "People always quit on me. I don't get it." Yeah, we know you don't get it. That's your problem!

8. She was being a real jerk to Tony.
I thought she was being ugly to him, much as I thought she was ugly to Jon (not that he's any prince or anything), you know - but just being civil would be a nice start for her.

Yeah, it's pretty bad that Nicole has more experience than the others, etc. and she has definitely outshined the others so far, but I'm just not sure that the dances of the likes of the PCD are going to help her with the slower, more fluid stuff. We will see.

Just watched the elimination. Guess who's still there? How can anyone vote for Kate Gosselin? It blows my mind. She's such a shrew!!!

11. I was just reading the article, and it said Nicole minored in dance in college.
If that's true, then the deck is really stacked against everyone else.

Personally, I think it's painful to watch Buzz trying to dance, but I'll give him credit for trying! :)

12. You could somewhat argue the same for many of their former
and current contestants. Kristi Yamaguchi, Evan Lysachek, Mario Lopez, Shawn Johnson... Dancers of different kinds, but still.

15. So true!
You can tell that the network picks contestants to try to appeal to different age groups, different interests, etc. and there always seems to be at least ONE who has a little bit of an edge. But, like Mya last season, Nicole will probably not be the final winner.

Oh, I thought Pam Anderson was pretty funny! I would much have preferred if Diva Gosselin had been booted, but then again, she does have her following in a Palin-esque sort of way. I'd much rather see a grown woman pimping her own body (like Pam) than a woman like Gosselin pimping her children.

I, too, felt that Buzz would be safe. I mean, come on, he's an American icon. But he will probably go next week or the week thereafter. His talents lie elsewhere; not on the dance floor, and that's painfully obvious.

We will see what the coming weeks reveal.

Shannen wasn't the best dancer but she wasn't the worst either, and certainly better than Kate.

This is only the second time I have watched. The first time was because my Mom asked me to watch with her when Marie Osmond was on. My Mom's name was Marie, so I think that's why she liked her. :)

This year I watched because I am a fan of Shannen's from her days on Charmed and Nicey Nash's from Clean House.

When Nicey is gone I will stop watching, just not really interested in the rest. I do agree though that Aidan is hot, though I think he is a far better actor than he is a dancer. lol.

I couldn't believe that Shannon went and Kate stayed.

But as I said in an up-post, there really IS a following for Kate "in a kind of Palin-esque" way. There are some people (obviously foolish!) who think she's just wonderful. But, seriously, how many different times does it take for her to be a bitch to other people for even the foolish followers to realize that she really IS a bitch!

Her attitude just sucks. Sick of the bitchface. sick of the condescending eyerolls. If you can't go in with an open mind and a fun attitude, get out now.

I've watched previous seasons and this one is really no different than the others. Nicole is what they call a "ringer," but last season that was also said of Mya, who did a pretty good job week in and week out, but lost to Donny Osmond, of all people. Fans have a large say in what happens.

Loves me some Evan Lysacek, however!

29. Saw An Interview With Her
I saw a brief interview with her after Shannon was eliminated. The Hollywood Insider, I think - not sure. But Kate was saying she was the one pulling in the ratings, etc. What a bitch!!!

And Tony was just standing behind her with this look of disgust on his face. I bet he is sorry that he got her as a partner!!!
