Oboy. Family members brought bedbugs from Eastern Europe.
Fortunately, those people do not live with me.

Beware, travelers!

Bedbugs lurk in hostels, hotels, villages. And they have no respect for your position in life or your citizenship.

1. If it weren't for the bedbugs....
.
...I'd have no love life at all.

3. I read somewhere that bedbugs have become a huge problem
in NYC hotels. And not necessarily at the Fleabag Inn, but really posh places. Don't know if this is true or not. Geeeze, I start itching all over just thinking about those critters.

5. I hope they left their luggage outside or in the garage
because if they brought it into the house, they're in for a world of hurt.

6. the luggage is lost...
...somewhere between Budapest, Madrid, and the U.S.

I hope they are smart enough to leave it outside when it arrives, take all the clothes to the laundromat and run through the dryer, and throw the luggage out.

7. The best thing that could happen to them is
if the luggage STAYS lost.

I feel for them. What a pain in the ass all of this must be!

10. that was probably the best thing to happen
although when the luggage comes back, they should leave it outside. Bedbugs don't like being outside. They could also douse it with some kind of pesticide, or if it's small enough, stick it in a deep freezer for about a month.

8. WE had an infestation a few years back...
was utterly disgusted and freaked out when I discovered it. Literally, if you are not allergic to the little critters, you might not know you have then until you lift the mattress one day.

9. Just in case, I'd get me some Mule Team
and sprinkle the baseboards.

Don't know if it would help, but I've seen it do magic on other things.

:hi:
