I've lost 24 pounds. And tell me how
I am going to get a new wardrobe when I don't have much money. I used to be a fashionista. Now I'm going to have to live my life in a pair of jeans and multiple Tshirts. Do you think I will make it?:scared:

4. Congratulations. Look for a seamstress. You might be surprised how little it costs
to take in your clothes.

6. just what I was going to suggest - especially if you had
many skirts in your earlier size. Pants can be pretty easy, too.

Congrats!

9. You will absolutely make it!!
and congratulations! It's kind of cool to wear the out-grown clothes for a week or so after the dramatic weight loss, but yeah, I know what it's like after that. Do what you can, and realize, always, that you've done the hard part.

10. Thrift stores!!!
I love shopping there anyway. Lots of cool stuff I've bought there. My favorite leather coat and tons of jeans and dresses and skirts for work.

15. Seconded.
They are ridiculously inexpensive and there is no way to shop there and not find a few skirts and tops that you've gotta have.

14. I'm so happy for you...
...and as others of said, thrift stores are great. I recently got 2 pairs of Levi's - my size - for 4 bucks each. They were in like new condition.

BTW, did I tell you how happy I was for you!

16. Thrift shops.
My SO is a marketing VP. Lots of public contact & requires an extensive wardrobe. She shops thrift shops for most of her professional outfits.

18. LOL-- I'm on year 55 of living in jeans and t-shirts...
...so yes, it can be done!

Congrats on the weight loss. I'm at about the same-- 25 or so pounds lost in the last several months-- and trying to get unstuck from a plateau without having to give up too much. Slow and steady wins the race....
