You know the kind of cake I'm talking about - cheap mix with uber sugary icing. The type you pick up for someone's birthday at the office.

Why am I craving a cake?

3. I gave in to that craving once
and I won't again. The cake was so sweet that it made my stomach hurt.
Now whenever I have that craving I remember how sick it made me feel and it's easy to pass it up.

4. You mean the kind of cake with not one natural ingredient in it? Strictly out of the lab?
The kind that causes your teeth to develop crater-like cavities as soon as a fork-full of this delicacy approaches your lips?

Dayumn, I want some of that, too. Chocolate cake with coconut frosting. That's it, nothing else will do.

And I'm a continent away from those goodies.

5. Take a piece off about an eighth and then throw the rest away.
Think of it as a piece of fudge. Enjoy it with a glass of milk or tea. You've had it and your done and it didn't get you.

8. wedding cake (NOT FONDANT FROSTED), white cake with white icing
yum. my favorite grocery only keeps a few ready to go cakes in the refrigerated bakery section and when they are a day old, they cut them in individual servings and sell by the piece. So you can satisfy a cake craving without having a whole cake in the house, or raiding someone's birthday party or wedding reception.
