Anybody else think that youtube sucks since they upgraded it?
I used to love going to youtube, but now, it's an exercise in frustration. The new layout is clunky and the comments are difficult to follow. Lots of great older features are missing, and the worst part is that videos now seem to take even much longer to download than they used to.

Ugh. Does anybody else feel this way? Bring back old youtube dammit!

7. Youtube is ground zero for moron territory
Makes freerepublic look like a bastion of scholars. I find it valuable to observe just what kind of bullshit passes for thinking out there in the world today.

6. The ads are quite bothersome.
Making us click to get rid of ads that obstruct our viewing of the videos is horrendous.

And they aren't the only ones doing it.

These are the type of things that will one day make the internet just as useless as tv has become.

And it's happening fast. The whole idea of jumping through registering hoops for every little thing is just as annoying.

The whole net is turning into a piece of crap.

I really appreciate that the vids on the right are no longer in their own little windows. I have not noticed any change in the amount of time it takes to load vids up, fwiw.

16. They got rid of the 5 star comment rating
Now the only options you have for rating a video are "like" and "dislike." You can no longer filter comments by certain criteria. And in old youtube you had the option of choosing which video among any of your favorites or personal vids that you wanted to display in your channel. The only option you have now is to select the six that you like the most, and one of those can be displayed.

The old system was MUCH better. And it looked better too. The old youtube looked like DU, a nice, elegant, easy to understand interface. The new one looks like freerepublic, in that it looks like the site was designed by somebody in a second semester HTML class.

But now their outside has begun to reflect what is on their inside, heh, heh. Seriously, they are so uptight about that bullshit it's pathetic. The people that post those videos don't make any money off them, so why the hell can't you use a god damn copyrighted song in them?

Corporate America. They took a great, killer idea and made it shitty. God love 'em. :eyes:
