Anyone notice that Lefty kind of went missing?
Have to go almost 5 pages deep for his last post.

Hope everything is cool, bud.

Pop in and let us know what up.

The lounge could use your juju right about now.

5. Not implying that. But last post was in the wee hours on Sunday am.
And nothing since. Seems uncharacteristic.

To me, anyway.

I miss the quirkiness.

Oh well, maybe he's busy.

It's been known to happen.

So nice to see you....and sweet of S n o w b a l l to let us know...
I remember when I was going through a horrible time in my life...
When you were philboy...
I used to come here at night just to look for your posts...
There were many nights that I would go to sleep smiling...and some posts I saved...
You'll probably never know how many hearts you've touched...just by being you.
I've seen bad times...and unknowingly...you were there to get me through.
We all need to smile.....

Be well, dear one.

Heard that at a "Grateful Dead Night" over a superb sound system at a bar about 25 years ago.

A rectangular bar at 2 in the morning.

Tequila.

I will never forget how good that sounded.

25. My username (for those of you who haven't seen this...
.
...a GA-FUCKING-ZILLION times) is a riff off of LeftyFingerPop's.
.
Uncharacteristically (coff-coff), I'm gonna start this off with a story.
.
When in college, someone organized an Arts Party at a private 3-story house just off campus. Musicians, painters, sculptors, videographers, poets, actors, etc. would present their works in different rooms and floors of the house. One of the COOLEST
parties I ever went to in college.
.
I had a one-line role as a doctor in a play by Charles Bukowski. I was supposed to say my line, shake someone's hand and leave.
I decided to pad my part. I went to a pharmacy before the party to pick up an examination glove. I was going to shake the hand,
look at my glove, shake it off vigorously, and apologize profusely.
.
I discovered finger cots. Teensy-eensy-weensy li'l condoms that fit over your finger so that you can administer a suppository.
They were selling singles for a nickel apiece. I took three up to the BUSY register and threw them on the counter in front of the
teen-something-aged young woman there.
.
She looked at them... she looked at me. She looked at them... she looked at me. She looked at them... she looked at me. Finally,
in a very loud and exasperated voice, I said, "COULD YOU HURRY UP, PLEASE -- I'VE GOT A VERY HOT DATE TONIGHT."
.
The line behind me exploded. She looked at me with the uber-contemptuous disgusted look that only teenage females can muster
and TOOK MY MONEY AT ARM'S LENGTH!!!!!!
.
All of which leads to this: To complete our little "family", I've been tempted to create a sockpuppet with the symmetrical name of
RightyFingerCot.
.
Please... do NOT get the impression that it would be an indictment of LeftyFingerPop's personal protuberances of any kind!!!
.
.
.
.
.
(although...
.
.
.
.
.
...there IS that video footage.)
.

.

28. When you managed that drug store...
.
...did you used to be a teen-something-aged young woman who was a LEETLE too ready
with your uber-contemptuous "look"?
.
Small world.
.
.
Neither is that last comment an indictment of LeftyFingerPop's personal protuberance.
.
.
(Although...
.
.
...there IS that Estelle Getty memoir.)
.
.
To be honest... she DID use the word "GAR-FUCKING-GANTUAN".
.
.
But... um... you know... all is relative.
.

.
