Boomer TV: Anyone recall "Coronet Blue"?
Edited on Thu Mar-25-04 10:34 PM by darkstar
I can't find anyone in "real life" who remembers this show. Guy, almost killed by baddies, suffers from amnesia and only recalls the words "coronet blue." Almost getting bumped off in each episode, not knowing why, on the run all the time, etc.

My dad watched it when I was 7 or 8. Too young to have formed a real opinion of it. So any older folks recall the show? Was it any good? I recall thinking it was odd and really being drawn to some strange, mysterious quality in it.

Befriended in his weekly questing by a monk and a coffee shop owner! Weird, I tell ya!

1. I remember that show
I had a terrible crush on the lead actor, Frank Converse!

2. Wow!
Yep, that's the guy. Did it have somesort of existential or beatnic vibe or something? I'm trying to figure out why a show got me so.

In my googling one links said only 11 eps aired in summer of '67. No wonder no one recalls it.

5. I heard of it
but I can't remember seeing it. If it was a summer replacement, we may have been traveling or up at my grandmother's lake place with no TV.

6. I have vague memories of it.
It was probably on when I around eight.I wonder if a search on Google or IMDB would turn up anything on it. I seem to remember that it was in black & white, then again maybe that's because our TV was B&W.
