4. A bump for the Evening
Well I came to check on my poor stepchild and found as usual, no comments (except redqueen pointing out what an asshole I am in regards to the title)

But, plenty of people actually viewing...

The Drawing is an excellent pencil rendering done in a painterly style. It has an almost watercolor "feel" to it. Done with a variety of graphite pencils it also has a sculptural quality. The Artist using a combination of light and dark areas gives the illusion that the figure "turns", giving the effect of depth and volume. Bold and commanding the viewer finds an almost hypnotic gaze...and finds it difficult to look away. The work shows a good eye and a steady hand with a firm grasp of the medium. Certainly this piece calls for a good frame and a conspicuous place on a wall.

Well take care I must cook dinner for the family (chicken tacos!) I shall be back ; )

or a student of yours? i quite like it, the way light and dark is used and distributed and how sections of the picture are broken up reminds me of a certain sort of early twentieth century trend i am too ignorant to name. e.g.

I think I will re-name this one
"Soulfull Eyes"

At the time I finished this I was listening to Iron Maiden and a song called Charlotte the Harlot.

The Moral of the Story...Don't listen to Iron Maiden...it will melt the logic functions of your brain.
