Help! Looking for a recent thread maybe 4 days old at most

Sorry I can't find this on my own, I'm hoping someone remembers a few more details.

There was a thread in which the main body was a lawyer's statement saying that ~~he was glad that this unwarranted investigation had ended and his client could get on with his life~~

The thing is his client was found guilty or indicted for a crime. It was just unbelievable spin. Calling night day sort of thing.

I think the investigation had been going on for 5 years or something. So I think it must have had political overtones to keep it going that long. I don't think it was the Katrina bridge shooting but I think the incident was well known but the name of the client may not be that recognizable.

Ring any bells for anyone?

Those are the two forums I check every day. Most probably General Discussion. I know it couldn't have been more than four days ago but I can't find it for some reason. It was such blatant spinning it was unbelievable.

I'm going to go through my browser history a bit more carefully but I have run CCleaner and some history may be missing. I know it was at DU because I remember one of the first few replies including "n/t" which isn't all that common on the sites I visit.
