America: The Story of Us. Is anyone else watching?
Overall, it's fairly well made. It's basically middle school and high school level history though. I was hoping for a little something more.

My one big complaint though are the people speaking about the historical subjects as if they are experts: P. Diddy, Martha Stewart, Giuliani, Michael Douglas, the guy that used to host "Future Weapons", etc. Who the fuck cares what these people think about the steam boat or Plymouth Rock? Why not get someone that actually knows what they are talking about?

1. they've got dr henry gates too
it's pretty good, but like most, it skims over the root causes of the Texas Revolution & makes it appear that it started & ended at the Alamo (hint: wrong).

2. Yeah, but for every Henry Gates...
... there's about five Sheryl Crows or Brian Williams.

3. Yeah its not bad but.....
The History Channel though has lately become more the Wikipedia Channel. No in depth real facts just basic commonly held knowledge even if it is slightly inaccurate. But this show is fun to watch.

Oh and the commentators I believe are supposed to be "real Americans", I was glad to see Bill Maher on tonights episode. But yeah who the hell cares what the Future Weapons guy thinks about the American Revolution? Or Donald Trump for that matter.
