a slippery slope...?

Last night I dreamed I was in a huge apartment building that was built like the Fun House at the Fair. I was on the 5th floor and I wanted to go downstairs. I walk to the staircase and open the door. I look down. The first step is a regular box step. All the steps thereafter were spinning dowels painted in the Pennsylvania Dutch Design pattern. :wtf:

1. Usually when you dream about buildings or houses, the house represents you.

I'd say yours might mean you don't know where to go or how to get there.

Just my guess.
