4. They took the idea directly from a Destination Truth episode!
For real - Destination went to Mongolia to look for the worms. They would have done better to look for them in Arizona where Tremors was set.

But they're running out of monsters and now they are ghost hunting and doing crossovers with Ghost Hunters. Really lame.
