30. I had to go look up the Duggar recipe
It's even grosser, if you can believe it.

DUGGAR's TATER TOT CASSEROLE
2 lb ground turkey cooked, seasoned, drained
3 2lb bags tater tots
2 cans cream of mushroom
2 cans evaporated milk
2 cans cream of chicken
Brown meat & place in large cass. dish.
Cover with tater tots. Mix soup & milk together.
Pour over top. Bake at 350 for 1 Hour.
(One of Daddy’s Favorites!) Makes 2- 9”X13” pans

the combination is just way, way too much. Coronary in a dish, that is.

27. Au contraire, mon canola oil-swigging ami!!!!
.
I grew up in the Midwest and INSTINCTIVELY know that
the way to make that a healthful dish is to smother it in
brown gravy.
.
And just put the 5-lb plastic tub of sour cream right on
the table.
.
It is missing SOMETHING, though. Maybe a few sprigs of
parsley to be food group all-inclusive.

15. People are living too long these days anyway
Thats about 70 tater tots to the year, and my grandparents all lived into their 80s. If I want to avoid the slide into physical decay, and just check out around 70, my math has that at about 700 tater tots.

Ive wondered how I could make things flow smoothly. I appreciate having an answer finally. Thank you!

I haven't consumed them recently for fear that they would pall with time, like such other childhood favorites as strawberry milk and Transformers cartoons.

31. When deep-fried and still hot, tater tots are pretty good.
But there are many better ways to eat potatoes. We like real hash browns, made with a teenager and a hand shredder - like Grandma used to! And they're cheaper; you can buy frozen hash browns usually cheaper than these hash brown nuggets.

The casserole, eh... I would imagine it's tasty. Instead of beef, I'd be inclined to use bacon. Or pork sausage. Isn't the whole point of the "tater tot" the portability? The finger food-ness of the product? Why not try the above casserole with shredded potatoes? Probably have LOTS less sodium...
