I like it in GD when the thread boils down to just two people standing there, duking it out.

Like the bare-knuckle fighters in the old days.
And all the other people go silent, like they're waiting for someone to call it. But no one does.

They keep swinging, neither one willing to back down.
Even with blood in the ring, they're both still on their feet.
Blow after blow, the jabs, the hooks, the cuts.

Finally, they tire. The legs are heavy.
And it's painful to watch.
Someone throws the last punch, but it's weak and barely connects.

The bell sounds.
And the crowd shuffles out for the night.

2. I try not to get into those epic duels anymore.
I used to have some good ones (wyldwolf was always good for helping a subthread go on and on), but now I get bored with people real fast unless they have some bite to them, either intellectually or comically. Hardly anyone here really does anymore. There's a few, but I always agree with them, so no flamewars there. Most of the ones I tend to disagree with are just banal and boring now.

7. Worse reasons to be taken out, I always say.
If I ever get banned (and there's a strong possibility this will happen lol) I hope it's for my sense of humor and not something dumb. ;)

3. Yeah but sometimes there are deleted messages
scattered through and it makes it kind of hard to follow. I missed some epic subthreads today apparantly.
