Our son is at his first prom tonight.
He's not driving but riding w/someone else. He was told to call us to pick him up (no questions asked) if the driver begins to drink or anything else. I have a strong feeling he's going to smoke weed for the first time (had a long talk about that with him yesterday). He knows the pros and cons and I'm sure will do what's best for him.

Oh, to be 17 again!

:smoke:

1. So did he come home goofy, or regular?
;) Yeah, to be 17 again... I'm admittedly savoring the vestiges of our 15-year-old son's 'innocence'.

3. LOL!
He was home by 1:30 since he's working today, and seemed normal to me. We're grateful he just got home in one piece and seemed to have a good time. He's not one to say all at once, it comes out in bits and pieces.

4. did you cry when you saw him
in his Tux with his girlfriend?

I didn't cry cry, but I did tear up.

I was flashing back and forth between him a little little boy and him standing there all grown up and manly, and then thinking about the future of him being in a tux and getting married...

it was just too much. Oh heck, I may do it again. . .

5. I am so glad mine still let me tuck them in at night. (Although that may not last much longer with
the older one turning 13 this winter.)

Not sure what I will do when my babies are big men. Get lots of kittehs, I guess. :D
