We are having a discussion here about what is reasonable and what is just strange.

1. About 3, had a few more but I got tired of hanging on to them, I should have access to 2 more.
Day to day I use 1 95% and a 2nd the rest of the time for shady registration to reduce the spam my main gets, it is over a decade old now.

4. Well, shit. I've got 68 domains and at least one each (admin@ and/or info@), so a shitload.
Edited on Sat May-29-10 02:16 PM by HopeHoops
The computer keeps track of them for me. Most of them don't get much mail. Most of my regular mail comes in on 20 or so of them.

then I have a dozen disposable Gmail accounts that I use exclusively for 419 scambaiting.

7. I'd have zero if I could.
Every once and a while I check to see if my various domains and my DU account point to an email account that's active. I think I went a year or two with my DU account information pointed to a dead email.

13. Guess I'm typical.... 1 work, 1 personal, 1 spam
Although my personal is about to become spam because of all the spam it gets, and my spam is about to be ignored forever.

19. One at work, two at home.
My "official" e-mail is actually an aol account, and I use a hotmail account for my blog contact because it gets gobsmacked with spam. I guess I could post something like "vixenstrangely(at sign)hotmail(dot) com" if I didn't want spambots trolling for my e-mail, but sometimes checking your inbox and discovering you've won the Irish lottery fifteen times feels really, really good.

20. I own two
1. For my regular mail
2. For my junk mail.

I just go to my junk mail one and delete it every week, and read through my regular mail in relative peace.

24. Ten, and this is how they break down
One at voila.fr for "everyone"

One at voila.fr for family and close friends only

One at Hotmail for newsletters I subscribe to at

One at Hotmail for Amazon.com

One at GMail for eBay

One "spam magnet" at Yahoo I use every time a site I want to see demands that I register or input an e-mail address

One at Yahoo for fantasy football only

One on a Russian web portal (rambler.ru) for my Russian-speaking friends (the service offers a virtual keyboard so I can respond from any computer instead of just from ones with Cyrillic fonts installed)

One old AOL / AIM account, just to be able to use the IM feature

One at Canada.com so that I have full access to all their sites

BTW, even though GMail has the most storage, I hate it. Give me folders, not labels.

the above list doesn't include a work e-mail address. Thanks a lot, pResident Bush.

26. 3 - One "real" one, one "junk" one, and one that's specific to a particular function.
There are probably others that I've forgotten about/haven't used for years.
