I am looking for a song to fill the time.

Many good song writers and singers out there.

A song about empathy I think

Jackson Browne

Doctor, my eyes have seen the years
And the slow parade of fears without crying
Now I want to understand

I have done all that I could
To see the evil and the good without hiding
You must help me if you can

Doctor, my eyes
Tell me what is wrong
Was I unwise to leave them open for so long

`Cause I have wandered through this world
And as each moment has unfurled
I`ve been waiting to awaken from these dreams
People go just where they will
I never noticed them until I got this feeling
That it`s later than it seems

Doctor, my eyes
Tell me what you see
I hear their cries
Just say if it`s too late for me

Doctor, my eyes
Cannot see the sky
Is this the price for having learned how not to cry

I think that makes the bad parts, and some of the tears worth a little more. I think there is a difference between not crying, and comfort in hard times. Something to think on for sure.

I really like this song.

Why Worry.

It is one of my favorite songs.

Baby I see this world has made you sad
Some people can be bad
The things they do, the things they say
But baby I'll wipe away those bitter tears
I'll chase away those restless fears
That turn your blue skies into grey

Why worry, there should be laughter after the pain
There should be sunshine after rain
These things have always been the same
So why worry now

Baby when I get down I turn to you
And you make sense of what I do
I know it isn't hard to say
But baby just when this world seems mean and cold
Our love comes shining red and gold
And all the rest is by the way

Why worry, there should be laughter after pain
There should be sunshine after rain
These things have always been the same
So why worry now

Side note, Red and Gold are the designations of the Jedi wings fighting the death star.
I find thoughts like that comforting :D
