My Uncle is still in jail, his dog misses him terribly.
My cousin has been a good dogsitter. He moved into my Uncle's unit while he is in jail. He takes his dog and my Unk's to the dog park, cabin in the moutains, etc. My cousin leaves his dog with my Unk's when he is at work. (banker hours).

I can still see the anxiety in this poor dog's eyes because his human is missing. It is so heart breaking. This dog loves hugs. (very smart dog, sees the humans hugging and he wants hugs too)So I just hug him as much as I can and don't get mad at him when he licks.(chronic licker, I have to be mean to him to get him to stop)

I just wanted to share,I don't really know what else I can do. I have never seen an animal mourn so much. His name is Doc.

Thanks for reading.

1. Dog hugs are adorable. Mine "LEAN" against me, interpreting hugs as PRESSURE.
They get the body warmth/pressure from a hug, so they LEAN. One of my two is also a licker. She just won't be still about it when she's carried. (Chihuahua)

Doc will go over and sit on their foot to show that he likes them. I love this dog.

10. Funny you should say that....
When my Uncle had his third heart attack and a quintuple bypass surgery (that's five by-passes) the hospital let my Aunt bring in Doc for a visit. He bounded on the bed and caused my Uncle a lot of pain, but my Uncle loved it.

9. Well, I hope it's not too serious a matter, for the dog's sake.
A man whose dog loves him that much can't be all bad I think.
