For those not familiar with the game of Snooker, there are 15 red balls in the triangle rack each worth 1 point and 6 colored balls with a point value of 2 through 7 points, the black ball being 7. The black is positioned behind the rack. The player must hit a red ball then a colored ball alternately. The colored ball comes out and is spotted back on its original spot. O'Sullivan shoots a perfect game by keeping his cue at the foot of the table, potting a red ball and positioning himself each time, for 15 straight times, to pot the black. After the last red is sunk, the player must pot the colored balls in the order of their value, from lowest to highest.
The difficulty of what he does is extreme and the skill demonstrated is extraordinary.
A typical American pool table has corner pockets that one can easily fit two balls side by side into the neck of, plus the corners of the neck of the pockets are sharp corners. The neck of the pockets of a Snooker table are much narrower and the corners of the pocket necks are rounded, making accuracy of the shot paramount.
I've played Snooker many times but this level of skill is simply astounding.
