PHOTO: Brunch is served! (twice-baked potato w/ bacon, cheddar, chives, sour cream)
Little bit of cheddar on top because there is more sitting at the bottom of the skin. A bit of paprika and parsley on top because we eat with our eyes.

Dig in! I'm eating it as I post, with a nice hot cup of black coffee...this photo will soon be the only evidence of its existence.

4. My Dear CP: No grouching from those near cheap avocadoes
The only time they're reasonable out here, they're all soft and rotten. It's tough to be an avocado fanatic on the East Coast.

One of my favorite things about visiting your coast is that you can get lots of extra avocado on everything without them charging you a fortune. Out here, if it's even available, they charge for a few tiny slivers.

I forgot that the sour cream I bought already HAS chives in it...
AND I have smoked paprika -- so it's not just eye candy.
.
And a big mixed green salad with two Roma tomatoes, a third of
a LONG (but skinny) cucumber, and finely shredded Cheddar.
.
