If a restaurant were operated like a radio station that plays classical music...
... then would diners hear details about crop rotation, irrigation, etc.?

After all, if you're eating the food then you must be interested in how it was produced, just as it is assumed that people who listen to classical music have an unlimited appetite for esoteric chat, with alternation between the technical and the merely snobbish.

2. Jim is not for everyone. But no one knows more about the music
than he. We all have our styles and he has his. Sure he rubs even me the wrong way sometimes. Sometimes I just have to turn him off.
But Rich. Now everyone loves Rich. He is never snobbish, true, but just as esoteric, in a different way.
So, listen when you want. Turn it off when you want. And hopefully Jim and Rich and Brenda and Howard and Carrie and all the others will happily be there forever.

5. I don't agree. I love hearing anecdotes about classical music and the people who
composed it.

Anecdotes about grilling a steak just aren't the same...

6. I'd rather hear Burrito Jimmy, Jive Talkin' Stew & the Morning Crew make prank phone calls...
in between minuets.
