I've decided to start naming my kidney stones

Mick, Keith, Charlie, and Bill so far. Debating whether Ronnie, Mick T., or Brian should be next.

If things don't improve. I will include Sly and the Family Stone and various members of the Stone Roses...

7. After I passed the 100th, I stopped counting

I pass them every 30-45 days. They're CaOx stones, but I form apatite as well. No one is really sure why, but they think it might have something to do with my kidney disease. Or not. Female sequential stone formers are fairly rare, so ... yay?

9. I'm female and get one about

every 1.5 to 2 years. Mine are uric acid so I'm trying now finally to be more diligent about taking my allopurinol which should keep them from forming. It's been over two years now so hopefully it's working.

18. I'm violently allergic to Allopurinol

My pH is very low; they can't raise it with anything. I'm getting used to the stones ... well, pass them nearly every month for over 20 years, and that'll happen; I'm just concerned about the scarring from them and the kidney infections. I'm in early stage failure from primary idiopathic FSGS, so I don't need that (kidneys can fail from scar tissue alone).

they broke him into too many pieces to count. I guess I'm in the 50% who will get them every 5 years group. Hey, wait a minute it's only been four years, dammit...shorted again!

The Urologist is arranging a CT scan and then a cystocopy. (oh lord)
