3. From cartoonist John Kovalic's Twitter:
"Who does England have in goal? Bill Buckner?"

5. The commentary has been excellent
Very professional and not all gabby per the usual we're used to in this country.

6. Another tie. What is it. Are there going to be no winners.
What I remember about playing soccer is running, running, running, and either kicking someone else's feet and legs, or having my legs and feet kicked.
The goals are few and far between.
England was the better team, but the error made the difference. And what a spectacular error.

8. This
is what's wrong with futball/soccer: the sheer pointlessness of a one-one tie. We Murkins want winners and loosers!

9. Woof woof woof. Actually I do absolutely no spectator sports.
I do not watch basketball, nor football (even tho' I went to a famous football school), nor hockey, nor whatever.
I only got onto World Cup because I know so many international people and more are visiting now, and I like the international aspect of World Cup.
It's something different.
I have played all the sports. But no longer. Cartiledge is gone. All I can do is bicycle.
But I watch Tour de France (a bit) auto and motorcycle racing (a bit) Tour of California, and maybe a little more World Cup.
And I go to Long Beach Grand Prix and Fontana's California Speedway.
