I think the Reds might actually be good this season

Half way decent pitching, one of the best lineups at the plate in MLB. In years past it's seemed like they could stay on contention up to July, but then they'd lose it after the All Star break. We'll see if they can hold it together this year. Right now they are roughing up KC 4-0 after one.

Mike Leake on that team. Big fan!

He was amazing to watch last year for the Devils but I haven't got the chance to see him this year as they don't show the Reds in this area.

Ha!

Last I heard the Reds were leading the league in series wins. They are in first place in the NL Central which also is home to the Cardinals. I think they are among the best in MLB right now. Doesn't mean they'll remain there, but I think they have a good shot this year.

7. I grew up as a Reds fan during the Big Red Machine years. It's hard to get better than that.

I haven't followed them in years and don't know anyone on the team anymore but I did notice they were in first place. Ultimately it's where you are at the end of the season and not before the All Star game that really counts.
