On Friday, it all becomes real. My footprint on the steep and rocky path.
Every journey begins with that first step.

I have set my foot onto the steepest, hardest, and most perilous path of all--the trail that leads over narrow bridges across deep chasms, up and up past things that swoop at your head and past things with jagged foaming mouths and even past things you have never imagined. Few return whole from this, but those who do--oh, what they bring back from that precipice! And what they have seen!

In a million years I'd never have thought I'd do this.

Hold my beer, watch this.

2. Enjoying the absurdity so far. I end up feeling all amped-up by bedtime
Can't sleep. I keep thinking about the weird little things. The weird big things too.

5. Done that before, probably doin' it again too. No, I mean a career change.
Can't tell anyone what till I'm at least at Mile Marker One. But it is a doozy, and something I watched other people do before but have never attempted and never in a million years thought I'd be any good at. It is as weird as if I decided to play basketball.
