Good blog for writers
http://the-editor.uphero.com/

I've started following a blog called "The Editor," which says it's for technical writers, but seems useful for anyone who wants to write clearly. From a recent offering:

The difference between “who” and “whom” is the same as the difference between “he” and “him.”

In spite of grammarians who have predicted its imminent demise for decades, “whom” obstinately clings to life in good writing. “Whom” is so persistent and so healthy, in fact, that the main problem today seems to be using “whom” where “who” belongs, and not the other way around.

1. I've always had a problem with 'who' and 'whom'.
I recently took an "English Language" course, and I finally was told the difference. I'm not sure if I just never paid attention, but I do not ever remember the difference between those two words being explained in such simple, understandable terms. I avoided the use of "whom" before; now I am excited that I know how to properly use it.

2. Who is subjective case & whom is objective.
But like I & me, people will still get it wrong sometimes. If enough people get it wrong for long enough, it eventually becomes right. That's how we got rid of "thee" & "thou".

3. Today The Editor explains...
...the difference between "continually" and "continuously." I had had no idea.

5. That is a fun blog.
The ratio example is priceless.

I used to write instruction manuals as a small part of my job and I loved it.
