The guest rooms were at the end of a long hallway, very nice rooms.

I have great respect for people who work in places like this.

I don't know if could.

I don't know what's wrong with your dad,but never doubt that some part feels love and comfort.You are a very loving kid(Coming from an old nurse)

My Father had a blood clot and other medical problems.

He is doing as well as possible.

Wish I could go more often but his home is out of town.

I do visit a local nursing home that is near my house, at least once a week.

So many people there have no one to visit them, that is so sad.

I wish more people would adopt a home and go visit if only for a few hours a week.

You would somebodies day or week.

3. I worked dietary in a nursing home for about a month once
They really relax the rules so that the residents always have a chance to visit with someone. With prior written permission from the family, they will even let you check out residents for day trips.

UGH!! We had split shifts on the week-ends. The day room had a nintendo and the younger employees would play video games and visit with the residents in between shifts. I always thought that was cute.
