1. What time is your exam today?
To be sure about what seems to remain, maybe you could call the number on your instruction sheet and describe it to them.

6. Drinking water is a good idea.
The preps dehydrate as well. As posted below, what finally comes out isn't exactly clear, however, the practitioner needs to be able to see the lining and it needs to be pretty clean. Just want to be sure what you are losing this morning isn't opaque and sludge-like.

8. Can you get white tea where you live?
A headache is the last thing you need. White tea has caffeine, not as much, but enough to help a withdrawal headache. It sounds to me like you are cleaned good enough, but, again, a phone call is the safest way to be sure.

10. Can't you have any clear liquid until eleven or so.
I thought about it some more. It seems Mountain Dew would also work, if there isn't a restriction on soda. It seems the restriction is just on red or orange clear liquids. Good luck.

I bet you'll be ready for your close-up.

12. One thing about the procedure is that the scope also has
a water line attached. I remember watching as my doctor used it to squirt the colon lining, presumably to clear away anything that had not passed the day before. Even so, at this point it's just a film on the lining and nothing to be concerned about :)

Good luck! I'm sure it will go just fine for you :D

26. No, he turned me upside down and then shoved a firehose up my ass...
and pumped in golf balls and shredded tires, but it didn't work because when I woke up, I was still saying stupid shit. :)

28. But, if you're upside down, it can't go "up" your ass;
it must go down ;)

If you were still saying stupid shit, then he obviously pumped all that stuff into the wrong place. Unless you speak out of your ass

29. Well, I forgot to tell you that I had the colonoscopy on the equator...
So when they turn you upside down, your ass is actually pointing to the center of the earth, or "downward".

13. Don't worry about it...the same happened to me on my 3rd colonoscopy.
Doc said a little "sediment" is normal. He was able to do the procedure with no problem. Good luck.

that makes me feel better ...truly!

I will just continue then to drink water until 12 so the IV hopefully will be okay and not worry about the rest.

I did drink a 1/4 of a cup of Pepsi. I needed that caffeine. It allows for people to drink coffee and clear soda...why not Pepsi?????

but only 1/4th

19. There is nothing to it...seriously...
Sit on the toilet when you are drinking the stuff...it's not too bad. Get the lemon/lime flavoring...that's the best tasting. Refrigerate the stuff so it is nice and cold.

Get a plastic cup... I think it is 8 or 10 ounces every 10 or 15 minutes...something like that. Pour it out into the cup...gulp...wait...gulp...wait...etc...that's the easiest way to get it down. Seriously...we get so worried about it, and it is nothing.

I've had 3 of them now and I'm looking forward to the next one, because once the prep is over, you get the GOOD drugs!

:hi:

25. HA!
Yes, using a straw to drink the liquid portion ;)

However, I just sat there and chugged eight ounces at a time. The product will say every ten minutes, but my doctor had suggested every fifteen. I forgot that one and did it every ten. No biggie :)
