Me: I want a steamed red hot in a lightly toasted (grilled is ok) bun with hot mustard and sauerkraut. Make that two, come to think of it. And a Sam Adams Summer Ale. Make that two Sam Adams Summer Ale...

1. A Jackson, Michigan Coney Island hot dog...
.
...with Coney sauce (ONLY way I'll knowingly eat beef heart), thin yellow mustard, and a HEAP of minced fresh raw onion.
.
.
.
Once drove an HOUR out of my way on a 20-hour road trip to get one (several) only to find the two 24-hr-a-day
joints in the center of town had both decided to close on Sundays (maybe the year before).
.

.

2. Wrapped in bacon, deep-fried and served with cheese sauce.
And sport peppers, of course. Alternatively, diced onions and brown mustard is good too.

Edited on Mon Jul-12-10 01:42 PM by TheMightyFavog
Make sure it's a Kosher Frank, please.

There used to be a great hot dog place in Stevens Point called Willy's that catered to all the Chicago kids going to UWSP. It's long gone, replaced by a middle eastern restaraunt that makes the best Gyros I've ever had.

14. your dog sounds about right
I'd add onions, and the bun would be steamed instead of toasted. I like spicy brown mustard (I don't know if that's what you meant by "hot mustard"

oh... and the Sam's Summer Ale is good, but I've become a huge fan of the Wachusett Brewery (also in MA) Ryde Beer.

29. Know what's real good?
Pillsbury crescent rolls wrapped around hot dogs and baked. Thinly spread mustard on the inside of the crescent roll wrap. Keep them separated far enough apart so they don't touch as the rolls bake and swell. Of course, you could make the dough yourself, but the crescent rolls are so fast and easy.

They taste wonderful, with good hot dogs.

But it would be deleted for being a disgusting objectification of a man, so just use your imagination:

And I'd like a Polish with sliced cucumbers and Dijon, and a HardCore Golden cider.
