I am SOOOOOO procrastinating...

Ok, so I've had two and a half weeks to write this paper on the Cambrian Explosion, nothing really huge, nothing really involved, just formulate a hypoythesis on why it happened.

It's due on Monday and I have done NOTHING in actual writing, although to my credit, I've done a buttload of reading and formulating in my head, just that actual WRITING thing.....

And now here I am writing a thread on DU about it!

im procrastinating too, ive got several long term physics projects/assignments i havent started/worked on in awhile... but hey, whatever ill be fine.

2. it happens to me all the time

I have even taken a course in scientific writing, which is actually the best English class I've ever had. I am just not motivated to write this paper, even though I know EXACTLY what I'm going to write.

It's like there's a stopper in my brain keeping the paper in there and not on my computer....

Usually though, once I get started and kind of produce a junky intro, and then get into the meat of the matter, it starts flowing. Then I rewrite the intro because it's disjointed and nonsensical :-)
