actually the purpose of this poll is almost all the 80s music polls don't include ones I do like. And of course I'm not including all the late 80s ones that were 90s bands for the most part (Superchunk, Nirvana, Born Against, Fugazi, Nation of Ulysses, Moss Icon, Jawbreaker, ect. ect.)

but how many punk/indie kids don't love the 80's Dischord era? Actually there are two Minnesota (where I'm from) bands up there (The Replacements and Husker Du), but that's coincidence.
