What's the go-to hip jet for DUers this year?

I need something that can take at least 20 people, even though most times it will just be me, but sometimes I take a group to Kyoto for lunch of whale and toro, or to Dubai for a weekend of skiing in the mall, or maybe to Alaska for an afternoon of wolf hunting.

What are you using? My other one is almost two years old and it's embarrassing to invite anyone on it.

1. The Global Express is really the only way to go
You can't take 20 people in style, but as cheap as they are, you might as well buy two.

3. Get on the waiting list for the new Boeing 787.
I know they're a bit behind in their delivery schedule, but it's an awesome airplane, and you'd be the envy of all those pitiful wankers with their lame little Citation 10s and Learjets.

4. Maybe you can get a good used one.
The engines all broke in.

5. Time to play "pimp my airplane"

The upfitted airliners look like the deal! Roll up to the ramp next to a Gulfstream, make some media whore look like a pissant!

6. I would go for the Boeing 747
http://www.matchbox.com/toys-showcase/toy-details.aspx?displayAll=false&prodID=68982

The four engines are a nice redundency compared to the 757's two... losing an engine when transporting your polo pony won't cause an emergency landing and a missed match.

7. This little beauty right here

(It's radio controlled. That way you might even have enough left over to buy that newspaper you've been saving up for. :-) )

8. Which ever one you pick you need
a better tax accountant. Any tax guy worth his salt would make all of those trips business expenses and would save you from paying income taxes in the first place. You need to hire away Exxon's people. I heard they've paid no US income taxes for years.

9. Get an order in for the Gulfstream G650
Great range, cruise speed, etc. With a HUD and a synthetic display PFD, as well as a 6000 NM+ range, you'll be able to get into almost anywhere that has a decent runway.

You can get more details here: http://www.gulfstream.com/products/g650/

If you need a pilot, you know where to reach me.
