I'd love to have a pet Ocelet. They are so pretty and not much larger than an overstuffed housecat

2. Animals I love
That's easy --- it would be a horse. I already have cats and dogs. I've had fish. Now I want a horse. An Appaloosa to be exact.

7. When I was little, the couple across the street had one of THESE:

A South American Margay

BEAUTIFUL CAT, but NOT cuddly.

It spent all of its time in the rafters of the basement.

I used to be allowed to feed it (raw chicken).

They also had a kinkajou that looked like this:

He lived in a cage and ate grapes, slowly.

Giraffe Gives Birth To Baby Girl At Philly ZooPHILADELPHIA (AP) ― It's a girl! And she's 6 feet tall! The Philadelphia Zoo is welcoming a newborn giraffe—the first to be born at the zoo in 13 years.

The unnamed female born Saturday is the offspring of 9-year-old Stella and 4-year-old Gus.

Zoo officials made the birth announcement Tuesday. They say the giraffe was delivered after a 15-month gestation, and that both mother and calf are doing well.

17. We used to have a "tame" crow who would sit on our deck.
We thought it was pretty cute to feed him until he started to peck huge chunks of wood out of it. He was no longer welcome after that.

29. Ocelots are actually twice the size of a house cat
and tend to be snarly and hissy. They also have very strong-smelling pee for marking their territory. They are gorgeous creatures but lousy pets. I believe Salvador Dali had one, but he was pretty weird anyhow.

36. An Indian Paint, preferably black and white... I had a bay mare as a
teenager, a cow pony trained for barrel racing. All horses are different and I've always wanted a paint. Turns out there's a horse boarding farm 1-mile from my house.

39. A miniture horse...
They're about the size of golden retrivers. Up in the North Bay near Petaluma there are lots of stables and you can go up and visit them. Albeit, they have a bit of an attitude--the full-sized horses are much friendlier and down-to-earth.

But I have a small city apartment, I don't think my landlord would appreciate a Clydesdale in my living room!

So, not only would a Clydesdale eat you out of house and home, but then there's the clean-up...
