What the hell was that bartenders name? You could just walk up to the guy and get any kind of drink you wanted, and I never saw any money exchanged. So the drinks must have been included in the price of the cruise.

This leads me to that fancy "Captain's Dinner" where everyone would get dressed up and dine with the Captain and be all polite making ever so witty dinner conversation and being sociable and all that shit and the men would be in their tuxes and the women in their evening gowns etc. etc.

If I'm on a boat, with an open bar, I'm not getting out of my bathing suit for anything, and I would show up stinking drunk at the Captain's little dinner and be all belligerent and drooling and burping with my eyes glazed over reeking of whiskey and stumbling around like a prick and knocking over the good china.

Hey, I'm paying for it...I'll do what I want.

9. The show's title was enough to qualify it as bullshit.
Wasn't there a cast member named either Skeeter, Beaver, Chipmunk or Ferret Face that successfully ran for Congress?

I never watched it because I liked Murray when he worked in the newsroom, but as ship captain BAH. :dunce:
