It's being reported by the BBC that she just completed treatment and her doctors say the screenwriter-actress-comedienne's condition is in remission.
Saunders, 52, has been seen with closely cropped hair as well as in a wig and bandana at a recent Wimbledon match. She will not comment on her health, her rep tells the BBC.
Saunders has been married to actor-musician Adrian Edmondson since 1985. They have three daughters.
Her series "Ab Fab," as it was called, debuted in 1992 and continued for several seasons before spinning off into the occasional special. Last Christmas in the United Kingdom, Edina reunited with her pal Pasty Stone (Joanna Lumley) for a commercial for the Marks & Spencer department-store chain. The outlandish Patsy and Eddie have been described as, among other things, "Lucy and Ethel on acid."
