The movie Silkwood is on tv today. Definitely a movie that shows the true underbelly of politics and big money. I watched the movie moons ago with friends as part of my "Welcome to Oklahoma" induction....
The locals knew what was going on, but few would talk about a company that was their bread and butter. I would be driving down the stretch of hiway where the wreck? happened and find myself slowing down. Perhaps looking for traces of the wrecked auto, or looking for somebody to have me in their cross hairs.
Glad to say goodbye to OK - Gov Bellman and Kerr McGee will never rest in peace.
