She called me a hussy(that's being nice), because she thought I was a 'kept-woman'..In reality, I work from home remotely and sometimes my commute is how long it takes me to find my bunny slippers..

Apparently, she was just fresh out of a nasty divorce, and for some reason, she said I reminded her of the woman her husband left her for..

oh well, I guess the worst she can do, is not answer her door..

12. Now that says a lot. She hasn't nothing against you, really,

just too raw feelings and hadn't gotten over the hurt and pain. You should take a six-pack of beer over and get to know her. That is a tough time for her.

She's judging you based on her own emotions rather than upon fact. You are questioning what would/should be your normal neighborly response on her attitude. Don't let others change who you are or how you would handle a situation under normal circumstances.

15. Yup.

What the hell, ya only live once. No point in reinforcing the negative, almost always good to reinforce the positive. Plus, you don't know how long she will be your neighbor(or so I assume), so this may be the chance to start to thaw that chill a bit. A good neighbor is (almost) always a good thing.
