Vent - my friend/coworker is a giant bitch.
Okay, so I have been friends with this woman since I was 15 - I am 29 now. We work together at a law firm in the same department.

She asked me to cover her ass on something for 2 days while she was out of town, which I did, no problem.

Today her client contacts me asking to have a detailed court document explained to her - so I let her know that my friend was back in the office and she could resume directing her questions to her.

My friend accused me of basically shirking the work.

WTF?

It's not my case - I provided emergency coverage while she was out of the office - that doesn't make it my case.

Anyway she didn't even realize she did it I don't think but since she is sort of a giant bitch most of the time anyway, it really pissed me off.

Go ahead and ask me to help you out again. I dare you.

:grr:

2. Eh, easier said than done -
it's one of those weird friendships where she is occasionally a hideous evil bitch and I find it so disturbing that I can't even say anything.

It's been like this the whole time we've known each other. She is scary. Which is almost funny bc most people find *me* intimidating lol.

She is moving in 3 weeks and we won't be working together anymore so I am inclined to just keep the peace.

scare the bejeezus out of me.

6. I had a similar work friend
I would keep the peace for 3 weeks and then cut off all ties.

7. I'm a little confused. It sounds like you have a love-hate relationship
even without the favour.
