Fer fuck's sake, it's JAMES BOND!!

Hell, I'll pitch some money on that investment.

That's a total no-brainer for any person to invest in. It'll always make way more money than it costs to make.

Go ask George Lucas - he has the money. (just make sure to add a rider that he doesn't get to help in anyway)

I know MGM is hurting for money and deep in debt; but come on, another Bond movie is the best way to help pay some of that debt back.

It's like printing money.

A billion bucks in the hole? Then go make five Bond films.

Maybe they figured out why he was 007, so he got censored.

5. 7 is used in many places in film
Edited on Fri Aug-13-10 03:24 PM by RandomThoughts
It has many meanings. But you see it pop up more often then coincidence.

Rev 7 sometimes is the thought. Sometimes it is just thought of as heavenly number, 111 in binary :)

But anyways, in film 7 can means heavenly, 6 means the other side. Although it can also mean adversary, many times it means soldier side.

You can see it in many place, even the answer to what is life the universe and everything from the Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy was 7 times 6 or 42.

The list of uses of 7 and 6 in films is really long, and even in old films.

1 and 2 are used alot also, the Double Deuce in road house 22, or Burt Reynolds jersey in longest yard 22. 1 and 2 have meaning with some groups in a way to judge what kind of people are good and bad.

the 1,2 thing is a real long story, and there are two ways to see it.

7. Oh, sure - symbolic use of 7 in literature goes back thousands of years.
Same with 2, 3, 4, 6. Also 40, 100, and a bunch of others.

But no symbolic use of 007, so far as I know, except as an allusion to Bond.

3. Or sell the franchise to another studio.
Don't wait until Craig is too old and the next Bond is Justin Bieber.

6. It's a damn shame. Craig is excellent as Bond.

While Quantum was a little thin, Casino Royale is one the best Bond movies I've ever seen (possibly even THE best), and closer to Fleming's novels than anyone has captured so far.

8. He really is amazing Bond. I love him in the role! One reason I'm so upset that MGM is wasting time.
We should have another one by now, and they should be working on the next one.

I want to get back to the days when a Bond film came out, the final credit didn't just say "Bond will return" but "Bond will return in (film name)".

9. Did you see Craig in either Layer Cake or Enduring Love?
Both are really good movies, so when they said he was the new Bond I was psyched. I didn't mind Brosnan, but he was too slick. Craig brings a grittiness to the role that was sorely needed. Layer Cake is clearly the movie that scored him the Bond role.
