I just got a letter from the insurance company requiring me to send in pre-extraction xrays
of my mouth to proved I truly needed that wisdom tooth extracted. Apparently people have wisdom teeth pulled for fun and profit far too often. :eyes:

2. Seriously, who has any dental work done without really needing it? I can't think of
a single person who'd have teeth extracted unless they really needed it done. Ridiculous. And as far as I know there is only one copy of my x-rays prior to the extraction, which I'd prefer my dentist kept on record for future reference. You know, to like, help her take care of my teeth and shit.

The Republicans really have won. I wish I could throw my bloody infected tooth at all of them.

3. Marlene Dietrich.
She had molars removed in all 4 quadrants to enhance her naturally-high cheekbones.

An odd exception though, and interesting trivia.

4. Your insurance company must have been watching this scene.

5. This happened to me too!
Weeks went by without hearing from the insurance co. Then they wanted more X-rays, which delayed treatment even longer. Mine was for a bridge, though. :eyes:
