CNN BREAKING: President Barack Obama Supports Starship's Right To Build This City On Rock And Roll
CNN WASHINGTON DC - President Barack Obama offered his support to classic pop rock band "Starship" as they attempt to build this city on rock and roll.

"I can assure you," the President spoke, "that if rock and roll had existed at the time of our founding fathers, they most assuredly would have built this city on rock and roll."

Starship's lead vocalist and frontman Mickey Thomas, when notified of the President's remarks, responded "We built this city, We built this city on rock and roll. We built this city, We built this city on rock and roll. We built this city, We built this city on rock and roll. We built this city, We built this city on rock and roll. We built this city, We built this city on rock and roll. We built this city, We built this city on rock and roll. We built this city, We built this city on rock and roll. We built this city, We built this city on rock and roll."

Former Vermont Governor Howard Dean could not be reached for comment.

1. Technically even mentioning that retched song could get you booted from DU's Cackle of Rads
seriously!

2. We just want to dance here! Someone stole the stage.
They call us irresponsible, write us off the page.

No one is questioning the legal right of Starship to build upon the sacred ground of rock and roll, merely asking if it's the RIGHT thing to do. What does Grace Slick have to say about this?

3. I still refuse to support him until he changes his anti-REO Speedwagon stance and...
ceases to fight that feelin' anymore.

4. He opposes allowing the Talking Heads to burn down the house.
He doesn't want to be soft on arson.

5. That's it. I'm out.
I'm looking for another candidate in the primary. I cannot abide any endorsement of that song.
