Common TV sitcom plot devices...
The vasectomy. Leads to porn, masturbation jokes aplenty..

Friend loans friend money, friend worries friend spends unwisely.

Character goes out with other character and eats hot food ( I think I saw that one twice today!)while maintaining that he can stand hot food.
