Do you have animals in your appliances too?

1. I used to have a fridge that called "Mom!" clearly but softly
Everyone noticed it. "Mom!"

It sure turned heads.

3. I'm vegetarian. No cows in mine. When I was a kid we had one that used to click on
like a freight train. It would make you jump and scare all the pets awake. One night late I was studying and the thing kicked on, and half a dozen or more flying cockroaches flew and ran from around it. We were dirt poor, the house was roach infested. They all swarmed all over me. To this day I'm terrified of cockroaches. :)

6. Little Miners Are In Mine
It's an old fridge and a repairman already had to chisel his way through the inner core. It tends to make it's own internal ice cubes. Every once in awhile you can hear the ice chunks as they shift and build. The little miners must be COLD miners!

13. I used to have the ordinary snap on and running grinding noisy
noises ice box (refrigerator).
But I got a new one recently, and oddly, the booklet described about 14 different noises it is supposed to make. Sort of like a warning.
And sure enough, it has 10 or 20 different noises it makes, when it is doing different things. And supposedly it uses less electro, in this way. I do notice the bill a bit lower.

15. My fridge makes a regular sigh of ennui, like a french poseur...
expressing disappointment in the height of the foam on his cappuccino.

17. No animals, but many years ago my grandma had one that was ambulatory.
It dated from the '30s, but it was still operating in the early '80s. It stood on little legs, had a door latch, and a big round compressor on top. When it was running it vibrated so much that it slowly scooted across the room and we'd have to push it back.

24. Our old refrigerator made little cat sounds.
It would upset the cats and the dogs.

Almost sounded like a little cat was trapped inside.

Thankfully the old refrigerator died, RIP.
