So the dogs are standing on the porch, staring out intently
and barking like crazy. It's bright and sunny and there's nothing there!

Are they barking at something I can't see, or just trying to fake me out?

3. They are traveling in time and barking at the things that will be creeping
toward your house tonight...

in the dark...

silently...

horrible, drooling things...

:wow:

Have a great day!:hi:

4. Be grateful
They're barking now so they won't have to get up at 2am -- very considerate I'd say.

Or they're just messing with you.

7. Sometimes all of the dogs in our neighborhood go off in synch
I can never tell what they're all excited about, but it's like a veritable chorus or cacophony.

But the even more weird thing is that when it happens, my own dog does not react AT ALL. It's like she doesn't even hear them. I don't get it.

10. I just figured it out. You're right about dogs predicting eathquakes.

My dogs are predicting the weather. The Great Lakes have reached record temperatures, meaning that they will be dumping a lot of moisture all winter, meaning that my dogs were actually barking to warn me of the big lake effect storm coming in mid January.

:scared: <-- not scared, cold.
