Radio Days is the only Woody Allen movie that I like.

Hope everyone is having fun this Labor Day weekend.

6. Radio Days is a good family movie.
I sometimes add rice to my pinto beans but not this time.

I add ham to my pinto beans along with garlic and bacon and other things.

7. do you presoak?
I have always been curious and frequently intend to ry it but never do.

I use (in order of preference) either a ham bone, salt pork, bacon (ends or a few slices cut in pieces), or just bacon grease (when I'm REALLY poor) onion garlic, black pepper and never salt until they are done (except with salt pork, no need for more)

If I am taking them to a pot luck where vegans might be, I skip the pork and use a little bit of salad oil just for the mouth feel.

10. Sometimes I presoak, never really noticed a big difference.
I use bacon, garlic, and a ham bone if I have one.

I do have some store bought pinto bean seasoning I use also.

The beans should be finished in a few hours.

That is a lot of gas.
