I love this video....Eric Burdon was HOT....

It looks like someone needed to turn the A/C on on that stage, they are all drenced in sweat by the end of the song.

3. His short-lived "Eric Burdon Band" was pretty amazing, too.

He found a guitar player with an extreme degree of Hendrix influence, Aalon Butler. About half of the first album, "Sun Secrets," was devoted to extended remakes of Animals tracks like "When I Was Young," "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood," and "It's My Life."

If you can imagine Jimi's "Machine Gun" blended with "When I Was Young," that's what the version on "Sun Secrets" sounded like.

They did one more album, "Stop," but the songs were all under 4 minutes and missed the stretched-our howling and jamming charm of "Sun Secrets." Both albums are now sold on a single CD. AMAZING stuff. 12 bucks at Amazon.
