I mean, I can eat handfuls of that shit, it's so good. I like the Bold Party mix and the hot n' spicy, but the original is good too. They even have dark chocolate chex mix! A chex mix for any occasion!

Seriously. I love the stuff.

1. I guess we all have our vices
Edited on Mon Sep-20-10 04:14 PM by Tobin S.
Yours is healthier than mine. I'm sitting here with some down time on my hands trying to decide whether I want to drink whiskey or gamble. If I could do both at the same time I probably would.

6. Two of my MANY vices USED TO BE playing chess and smoking pot...
.
.
.
.
.
.
...but never the twain shall meet. I'd SUCK bigtime at chess when
I was stoned. Used to play with a buddy of mine for $5 a game and
after I told him how much I sucked after smoking, he was ALWAYS
offering to fire up a joint.
.
Finally thought, "Well why not... just this once?"
.
.
.
He sucked at chess 10x more than I did when stoned.
.
.
.
After that, I would suggest smoking... and have to stifle my
laughter as he got this shrewd, crafty look on his face (I'm
sure he was Mr. Spider to my Mr. Fly in his head).
.
.
.
   :hippie:

3. I like the Cheez-It Party Mix.

I choose out all the little garlic-rice balls, stick pretzels, and crispy bread slices in order to eat them first. This makes Rhythm and my sister Song rather peeved, lol.

5. I am TOTALLY with you on the chex mix!
I find the original dull, but the rest of 'em are pure win.

7. I'll even go to the A & P instead of Stop and Shop because A&P has a HUGE variety of flavors.

8. Yes, and a friend of mine makes the best homemade version I've ever tasted.
She gives out bags of the stuff over the holidays. Bless her and her grandmother, who gave her the recipe.

9. You know, it's the damndest thing...My homemade Chex Mix is requested every single year
at two holiday parties I always go to...

I serve on the boards of 2 non-profits, and the Holiday/Winter parties are always pot-luck.

That's the thing people want every year.

11. Homemade is best way!
Plain ol' Chex with nothing else in the mix would be just fine for me. Peanuts good, too. I'd just as soon leave out the pretzels.
