4. Thanks, however...
there isn't a single mention of which affiliates in which cities will be carrying Air America Radio. On another politico board, there is an individual who swears this is an XM satellitte radio program only, this isn't true, no?

5. Affiliate List
At this writing, the network confirms it will actually debut on 3 frequencies in 3 markets:

In New York on 1190 AM; in Chicago on 950 AM and in Los Angeles on 1580 AM. The network will also be streaming online from it’s website and will be available on XM Radio

On contacting Air America Radio in New York, a spokesperson could not confirm whether the 3 flagship stations would undergo any call letter changes or adopt any particular “on-air” local marketing names (aside from the assumed “Air America Radio” moniker).

At present, 1190 AM is WLIB which features “Carribean Hits and More”, 950 AM is WEJM, an Urban formatted station, and 1580 AM is KBLA which at present provides Spanish News/Talk/Sports.

6. Pathetic Air America web site - where are the radio stations?
I searched their web site and the best I could find is this buried in a news release:

"Air America Radio will debut its programming on radio stations WLIB (AM 1190am) in New York, WNTD (AM 950) in Chicago and KBLA (AM 1580) in Los Angeles and a station in San Francisco to be named before launch."

If Air America is broadcast and nobody listens, does liberal radio exist?

I sent them an email:

To: general@airamericaradio.com
Subject: Post a list of radio stations for crying out loud!
Text: Can't believe that a list of radio stations broadcasting Air America aren't prominently listed on your web site. You should also list web broadcasts of those stations (if any) in order to reach a broader national audience. We're dying for an alternative to the right wing hate radio out here in middle America and I thought you would have made it easier for us to find you.
