If you tell someone they're on ignore, and they're ignoring you, does it make a sound? Does it matter if you live in a forest?

33. I didn't for a long time, but I realized one day that a particular
DU'er was baiting me and then alerting when I wasn't exactly ecstatic over being insulted. I decided ignoring the creep was the wise thing to do. He disappeared into tombstone heaven subsequently. Then other annoying types tried to get me tombstoned by alerts so I ignored them and again they overplayed their cards with other DU'ers who have a lot more power than I do. They were subsequently tombstoned as well. I am small potatoes incidentally, but they went after bigger prey and it backfired. I stopped alerting a long time ago because DU has increased their moderating of the forums and it has become unnecessary IMHO.
